Beautiful original condition hand hewn wooden mid 1800's dough unique piece.
In very good condition this triple dough bowl was retrieved from old stone barn in provincial central Greece.
This style of board was used to rest the dough and give the bread form before placing in wood burning clay ovens for home made bread.
Lovely vintage condition with wear consistent with age.
It has been cleaned and can still be used by bread making enthusiasts.
The surface is sprinkled with flour before placing dough in bowls and left to rest in warm place with a cloth cover.
